1. Rust inhibitors can be used only after cooling down. If the injection mould is sprayed with rust inhibitor before cooling down, the mold will rust in a few days. The reason is that before the mold returns to temperature, it will absorb the moisture in the rust inhibitor, which will produce signs of rust. The best way is to wait for the mold to cool down naturally, and then use the mold rust inhibitor after cooling down.

2. Use long-term rust inhibitors. There are many rust inhibitors, rust-proof oils, and rust-proof powders on the market. However, long-term rust inhibitors are professional mold rust inhibitors, and the general rust-proof cycle is one to three years. It can effectively ensure that the factory's injection moulds are safe and reduce unnecessary losses.

3. Avoid placing injection moulds in a humid environment. The ancients said well that water drips through stones. If the injection mould is placed in a humid place for a long time, no matter how good the rust inhibitor is, it will be useless, and it will eventually cause the mold to rust. Therefore, when we remove the mold from the injection moulding machine, we need to pay attention to the storage environment. It is best to choose a dry and ventilated mold rack, so that there is no need to worry about the mold rusting after long-term storage.

Fourth, regular maintenance is also required. Regularly remove rust, regularly re-lubricate, and regularly replace easily worn parts.
