The mold structure has higher requirements for the cooperation between the upper and lower molds. The parts that make up the mold must have sufficient production precision, otherwise the mold will not be able to produce qualified products, and even cause the mold to be unable to use normally.

2. Long service life. The mold is a relatively expensive process equipment. At present, the cost of mold production accounts for about 10% to 30% of the product cost, and its service life will directly affect the production cost. Therefore, except for special cases such as small-batch production and trial production of new products, molds are generally required to have a long service life. In the case of mass production, the service life of the mold is even more important.

3. Short manufacturing cycle. The length of the mold manufacturing cycle is mainly determined by the level of manufacturing technology and production management. In order to meet the needs of production and improve the competitiveness of products, it is necessary to shorten the mold manufacturing cycle as much as possible while ensuring quality.

4. Low mold cost. The mold cost is related to the complexity of the mold structure, mold materials, manufacturing precision requirements, and processing methods. Mold technicians must reasonably design and formulate their processing technology according to the requirements of the product, and strive to reduce the production cost of the mold.
