Custom plastic injection moulding requires careful control of the following core aspects to ensure product quality and delivery efficiency:

1. Preliminary Design and Mold Stage

Product Design Compatibility: Set appropriate wall thickness and draft angles according to the selected plastic properties, avoiding sharp corners, notches, and other structures prone to stress cracking. Specify tolerance ranges that meet requirements.

Mold Customization Requirements: Select suitable mold materials such as steel/aluminum alloy based on production volume and plastic type. Optimize the layout of gates, runners, and cooling water channels, and provide sufficient venting structures to avoid molding defects.

Advance Confirmation of Mold Opening Cycle: Clearly define the time nodes for mold processing and trial molding, allowing for a buffer period for adjustments and modifications.

2. Raw Material and Process Control

Raw Material Pretreatment: Complete drying and impurity removal according to the plastic properties. Strictly control the proportion of recycled materials added to within 20%-30%. Different grades of raw materials must not be mixed arbitrarily.

Precise Adjustment of Process Parameters: Match the barrel, nozzle, and mold temperature according to the raw material type and product structure. Set appropriate injection pressure, speed, and holding time to avoid problems such as insufficient material, flash, and warping.

Adaptation to Special Material Requirements: For special materials such as transparent parts and crystalline PP, the process needs to be adjusted accordingly, and a dedicated cleaning screw and temperature control system are required.

3. Post-processing and Delivery Acceptance

Post-processing: Complete annealing and humidity conditioning processes as required to eliminate residual internal stress and stabilize dimensions and performance.

Finished Product Acceptance Standards: Agree on acceptance rules for appearance, dimensional tolerances, and performance testing in advance, and simultaneously request raw material reports and batch test certificates of conformity.

Clarify After-Sales Terms: Confirm the mold warranty period, the guaranteed yield rate for mass production, and agree on the response time for subsequent mold modifications and reorders.
